Can I write this line in my study : "The proposed systematic review and meta-analysis will be conducted following the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses)" since I am doing only systematic review?
Can I name my chart as a PRISMA chart or write as a flow chart?
In conducting my systematic review, I've completed the data synthesis phase, and surprisingly, I haven't identified any cohort studies that meet my inclusion criteria. All the included studies are of other designs. Is it common or expected in certain systematic review topics to find no cohort studies, or does this absence typically indicate something I should investigate further (e.g., search strategy limitations, specific characteristics of the research question)? How would you interpret or discuss this finding in the context of the overall evidence?
