As part of a genealogical study (graduate-advisor, post-doc-advisor) study in oceanography I am looking for websites with lists of graduate students/postdocs, their supervisors, graduation years, etc.

For Brazil, the Lattes curriculum website (CNPQ) is quite good, and the group of Marine Ecology has added a lot of information on their own branch of the Academic Tree.

Do you know of other websites, for a country or a particular university where one could harvest more information?

Do you know of other similar studies, besides those in AcademicTree.org?
