NASA just seems to have 30 m: http://asterweb.jpl.nasa.gov/gdem.asp

actually it is 15 m. Thank you very much. for ESRI ArcGIS, I think we should use GeoTIFF for hydrologic study of the watershed ?

Actually, if you download the ASCII file, you can convert it into a raster, and that will be the best to use in ArcGIS.

It would be possible by resampling the DEM to higher resolution (e.g. 1m) using cubic convolution or bilinear interpolation technique. In our study for tropical montane forest, the accuracy was maintained when we resampled the DEM to 1m, 2m and 5m of spatial resolution (SD=9.0m-10.4m; RMSE=9.3m-10.6m).
