diclofenac is a water soluble NSAID.
if you wnt to improve the solubility of insoluble drug solid dispersion will be a good method.
You can evaluate the release pattern through the release kinetics equations (zero, first and higuchi diffusion) in addition to korsmeyer-peppas equation to know if the release was through diffusion, swelling or erosion or a mix of them. Check my publication in 2009.
