I am wondering if anyone has given much thought to the issue of who can best educate -- I prefer the word "train" students in entrepreneurship. Would it be a lecturer/professor with a PhD in entrepreneurship or an entrepreneur with no PhD but perhaps with a Bachelor's degree.
In my opinion the best will be an entrepreneur with no PhD but perhaps with a Bachelor's degree.
While a non PhD can have street smarts and good pointers on being successful,he would lack structured analysis that comes with advanced studies. On the other hand, a PhD with just theoretical work will not be able to relate to real scenarios which might solve practical problems.
In the end I would go with a PhD with real world experience that can provide me with real world examples and also be able to put them contextually within the frameworkl of amore comprehensive theory.

I think a combination of the two would be the best mix as the entrepreneur and lecturer each bring their expertise to the table. The trainee entrepreneur would have the best of both worlds as done in entrepreneurial universities, see the following Q&A link:

Depends, why not a PhD with entrepreneurial experience, you get the best of both worlds. And with a Bachelor's, it would depend on their experiences. But, I think an MS level qualification with entrepreneurship experiences is pretty much enough assuming the Masters has sufficient exposure to quality of output fit for that level. Personally, I have preferred learning from entrepreneurs who have no formal qualifications, people like street hawkers or food makers. Or those telemarketers. They don't rely on specific vocabulary or semantics, but they more than make up for this lack in some intangibles (that can be measured but not immediately).
But I've also learned from PhDs and established investment corporates... who can deny Drucker / Mintzberg / Kotler and other greats... but I find the former to be more representative of values that really define entrepreneurship without any filters of social layers which deny visibility of key factors of a certain trait.
Depend on areas of expertise and what do you want to achieve.
Usually, practitioners good at sharing their story with real life experiences while academicians are more towards theoretical. Arturo has the point to have PhD with real world experiences can give both view and is supported by my industry collaborators.
A good program should consist of both academicians as well as practitioners if you want to have the session interesting. Start with academician on theoretical and then session from practitioners from different industries as we won't have the same person expert in all fields. 3 Practitioners from different industries will be good.
