In my community there is a local plant used as chewing stick and traditionally a change in color of the chewing stick from white to green after usage indicate malaria infection depending on the drgree of change in colour of the stem indicating severity of infection. No change in colour indicate no infection. I want to know if similar observation exist in other community else where in the world? I am intrested in this research and seek collaboration.
