I get this question 1 year after it was posted. But, I will consider (1) the electron configuration and the structure impact on it. then I can predict the gap energy that may affect on the optical properties. next the (2) catalytic or redox properties and their effect to structure chemical stability. also, think about (3) coordinate numbers and (4) atomic radius.
