Does Cross linking reaction (Xanthan) plug ?

Hello everyone! I want to find out that during the Xlinking (CROSS-LINKING) reaction does the polymer plugging occur?,i have tried on CMG Stars a model case when i use the Injection fluids/stream attributes by considering high temperature (400 C) and pressure(5000) the plugging occur but once i remove it doesn't occur. Xanthan is used for plugging.I think this pressure and temperature are very high and don't have to be used for a field. I need some guidance and advice.Thanks
