My department is using collaborative video conferencing software to simultaneously deliver anatomy lectures to face-to-face and online students.  We also use the software to run laboratories for online students exclusively.  The online students use the software to interact with the teachers if they login during "live" times.  Here are two examples of successful implementation in my department.  Since it does not require special equipment to be installed in the teaching rooms, other departments have adopted this delivery system.

The University System of Georgia has supported the creation and adoption of e-textbooks for high enrollment courses offered across the system. You can find examples of the texts and their adoption at affordablelearninggeorgia.org.

MedU (www.med-u.org) is an online platform for delivering virtual patients (a form of eLearning in medical education) to medical students. Adoption is very broad with about 90% of US medical schools using MedU cases. A national collaborative development led to such broad use of this eLearning system.
