Do you have tips for RNA extractino from soil using Qiagen kits?

Hello,

I'm trying to apply the RNeasy PowerSoil Total RNA extraction kit with my low-organic matter rhizosphere soil. No luck so far, even though I'm using fresh reagents and following the protocol.

I would be happy to receive any tips or suggestions (was thinking about increasing the starting material from 2g to 3 or 4).
