I'm a plant science manager at a greenhouse and we want to start doing interplanting of our Tomatoes and Eggplants. We would like to know a little more about the experiences of other grower on the subject. How do you calculate the time to plant the newer crop, what are the limitations what about operations cost and cleanliness for pest control?

the question is. Are you planing to inter-sequence during planting?
if no, tomato and eggplant can be planted in the same greenhouse. however, both plants can share the same pathogens, something to worry about before planting. there are great companions to prevent such attacks. With some more info, I can help you out more.
Hello, we already have the two crops (Eggplant and Tomatoes), and we have different ages. What we want to do is to do an sequential interplanting of the eggplant and then if this works with our system maybe do the same with the tomatoes. I haven't been able to found articles on this, just one for the tomatoes but that is it. I want to know what type of crop work I should be doing on the plants, when should I plant the newer plants, what irrigation should I prioritize (young plants or older) etc.. If you could help me with any of those I will be very grateful.
