Writing a research paper is an obligation to rise academically for me. Now, I am trying to publish my papers in SCI indexed journals and it is hard. But after being let's say full professor, writing a paper can become more enjoyable and I can write more valuable papers.

Especially when I am working with theoretical problems in physics and mathematics, because in these situations we do not have much intuition about expected results.
