The global industry has not settled on a common blockchain definition yet, meaning market leaders have likely defined an initial strategy. 1-2% sounds fair.
I think this is not surprising, it is a revolutionary approach, and typically people are afraid of what they don't know!
Adoption seems to lag behind expectations, but, after all, this is a highly complex technology and most companies are still in a learning stage.

Trevor, this is an interesting article. But even if it takes 2-3 more years, it is the time now to explore Blockchain. As with all new technologies there will be spectacular failures, but at the end of the day somebody will figure out how to create business value.
