Research shows that among the young urban population, a more open-minded attitude to globalization is prevalent (Arora et al. 2004; Gidley 2001). This generation is eager to learn and faster to integrate, often using technology as a means to bridge gaps between societies. Hence, for fast developing countries/tiger economies, it is quite conceivable that their future economic performance will be affected by a higher degree of outbound internationalization, especially in the IT sector.
