Hello everyone. I want to run some texture-related code in Matlab and I need linear RGB values. My image data set is available in sRGB color space. When I import these images in Matlab by "imread", do I need to apply gamma correction afterwards?
Coulyu give some examples of pixel values in your sRGB solor space?
Gamma correction not required through coding.modern os with monitor built in operation
If you still want for contract correction then you can use Gamma correction formula
If you are using formula choose appropriate value of gamma
Adding further answer for above, gamma also depends on the quality level of the image
I am new to Micromechanics and having similar problem with understanding the implementation of the formula's. I would appreciate if anyone can guide me on how to go about getting a scalar value...
