I have run Cyclic voltametric scans for protein.The scan was run between -1 to +1 V . The scan was begun from 0V and ended at 0V. But there is discontinuity in the graphs at 0V. Can anyone tell me the reason for this discontinuity?

That always happens. I suggest to run 3 to 5 cycles. The cycles after the first will be continuous.
It is because of the formation of the electrical double layer on the surface of your electrode, the scan is properly showing your processes, very well defined oxidation and reduction processes, if you take the second scan probably you won't have this gap. And there is no problem if you are not starting your CV from OCP, the profile would depend more on to each direction of the applied voltage you are going.
you have to set your parameters so that the scan will start from -1V and after completing cylce ends at -1V. I am sure this will work.
