Does anyone have experience with reaction time tasks using "wireless" EMGs that use bluetooth to connect to the computer?
I wonder wether bluetooth might be slower than the "old" cables. In our experiments we measure reaction times in miliseconds (ms), so this is really an important issue.
We need to set markers in the EMG raw signal.
I am not sure how it works.
Case 1:
The markers are sent to the bluetooth device. In this case sent via bluetooth. With delay the markers might be set to late.
Case 2:
The raw signal is sent "live" (with delay) to the computer, where the markers are set. In this case the markers might be set to early.
