your question can clearly be answered with yes. Organic compounds and organic complexes can act as carriers for metals and HC traps can be adjacent to or in the same structure and geodynamic setting also hosting ore deposits.

See below some types where you have metal deposits besides petroleum deposits. It is mainly a stable cratonic or foreland-type geodynamic environment

Shale-hosted PGE deposits

Ni-Cu-Mo-Re-Zn-Mn-PGE deposits (Black Shale-type)

Cu-Zn-Pb-Au-Ag-Co-Mo-Ni-V-PGE- Se-Re mineralization (Kupferschiefer-type)

Vanadiferous argillaceous deposits plus V in organic matter and petroleum

Carbonate-hosted base-metal deposits (MVT sensu lato) mobilized and immigrated HC

(1) Pb-Zn-(As-Ba) flexure- to horstbound

(2) Pb-Zn-Ba-Ag-(Ni-Co)

(3) Pb-Zn-Ge-Mo faciesbound sulfidic

(4) Carbonate- evaporite-associated Pb-Zn deposits

Best examples under (4) in Tunisia Bou Grin and Baloul Formation (in-situ OM concentration)

U - sandstone deposits (immigrated, secondary traps)

Limestone-hosted U deposit (in parts bound to salt domes similar to HC deposits)

Uraniferous black shales

In Paleozoic settings mostly overcooked, when undergoing regional-metamorphism.

I had been thinking about this for a while in the context of Papua New Guinea tectonic setting where in the New Guinea Central orogenic belt hosted some world class Cu-Au-Mo-porphyry deposits (e.g OK Tedi, Frieda River, Yandera) and several epithermal vein Au-Ag deposits. Adjacent to these deposits, the Papuan Thrust-Fold Belt sub-parallel to the orogenic belt has significant oil & gas reserves. Further south in the Papuan Foreland basin oil & gas discoveries are being made. Although their age/timing of emplacement could be different but the regional tectonics through time may have configured their evolvement.

No sedimentary, volcanic or carbonated-hosted base metal deposits were noted in the tectonic setting.

I know the geological maps around PNG, but the porphyry-type, and submarine smokers currently under operations in the Solomon Sea are not directly related to the HC plays. It you want to see a different region similar to that you have to direct you view to the Persian Gulf, where you can find HC plays related to the Hormuz Fm and a lot of base metal deposits along the metallogenic belts in Iran. Between the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf HC plays and metal deposits are juxtaposed. But even if the timing of the metallogenesis and the immigration of HC are close together in time and space they have no direct genetic relation with each other. You can prepare an overlay of HC deposits onto a metallogenetic map and you will get some relation in space, maybe also in time but hardly as to the genesis.
