Do any one know a technique for colloidal nano particle separation in large scale?
or a supplier for equipment use in colloidal particle separation as filter press or disc centrifuge
That's important, how much, gram, Kg or tonnes scale. It will change the approach, facility, instruments, time, cost and handling etc. Please be specific or describe your problem in details. Thank you.
Large scale for 1 tonne and 10 tonne
For metal oxide nano particles
percentage of nanoparticles in the colloidal is 3%
particle size range (30-100nm)
do you want to concentrate them only, or do you have to separate them from other particles?
you have various options to flocculate them first. To my knowledge there is no working mechanical separation process on large scale for separation of particles of nanoscale from liquids, it is still in development.
You should also look into magnetic separation.
