In our country, Costa Rica, the CPIC (College of Professionals in Informatics and Computing) is evaluating the +25 year old normative that says "only bachelor programs with a base of 60% of courses from Informatics or Computing are accepted as members". Now we have universities graduating Master Degree in Telematics and Project Management and the University accept Business, Electrical, Civil, Industrial and Electronic bachelors. Based on this, our college denied the affiliation. Cybersecurity is another discussion now and other emerging disciplines are moving like BioInformatics and Medical Computing and so on. Is there a country that solved this?
