I notice that The number of citations shown in Research Gate is much less than actual. Any reasons behind this phenomenon ?
same article has 10 citations in Google Scholar but only 5 citations in Research Gate !

Yes, I have the same problem, this may be related to the differences in data sources. Google scholar has larger database of journals.
The citation number related to person do the citation for our research so if the citation done by persono not a member in research gate not involved in score.
I think that some articles that cited from you study never been published in research gate
