We are planning to do a study to find out the effect of sociodemographic background, school-related factors, social and parental support on the educational and professional aspirations of high school students.
Does anybody know a scale to measure the career aspiration of school students, particularly in the Indian context? Literature reveals a Career Aspirations Scale devised by O'Brien, 1996. However, the questions are not valid in the Indian context.
Why don't you get it validated for the Indian context by making minor changes in the questionnaire, of course after taking permission from the original author, duly acknowledging him / her and then pilot testing in your context.
