You would better use software like plagiarism checker x, easy and reliable. it does not save your work. The other software called viber, had some claims to keep a copy of what you search with.
I agree that some website are badly written and they can harm your article by providing the wrong answers when checking.
On the other hand people should be ethically aware that writing something for publishing only without advancing the world of research is very bad. Therefore we should check our morality first. Because even the best checkers will make mistakes.
Turnitin plagiarism checker... its very useful one to identify the plagiarism
As I said earlier turnitin is good but you should rely on your own judgement and ethics to prepare original work
