• Yes. Light moves in all directions.
  • Earth' rotation can cause an ether wind of about 10-6 times c in horizontal direction.
  • So, light motion (beam) can differ 10-6 rad. in relation to wave front normal (ray).
  • Mirrors in MMX define ray direction and not beam direction, since mirrors reflect light but not ether wind. c - not c+v.
  • No effect in transverse arm in MMX. Michelson was right.
  • After 5 years of debate (and one nervous break down) Michelson was forced by majority to give up and Potier was accepted.
