I work with the Natural Products Discovery Group at OU where we often encounter terpenes. All of our pure compounds are added to the natural products library at 10 mg/ml in DMSO and stored at -80C for years. We also often store natural products dried at -20C for extended periods of time.
A quick search reveals that the compound you are speaking of is sold as a solid and can be stored at 4C, but I would use the methods described above.
I don't think any special storage condition is required for terpenes. Can store at 4-8 degree however to avoid any changes. I even want to know the storage condition for hydrolyzable tannins.
