First , I will assume you know fair bit of theory . Next , you are aware of some applications and tool (MATLAB or OpenCV for images) .

If yes , then first assignment : For starters what are the audio and image and video formats commonly used in PC side for storage or watching ?

Yes, I know the basic implementation of metaheuristic on matlab for objective function.

For this chase I want to learn about storage audio like filtering. Is that possible to optimize audio or something like that ?
