I can remember the ResearchGate provided a feature to add citations to you own articles, a while ago. Seems it is no more available. Google Scholar is not providing any such solution as their system of detecting citations is completely automated.

Is there a way of alerting the RG and GS on synonyms for an author name that have appeared in citations, due to errors made by those citing authors?

e.g.

I've been using my name as "M. Sandun J. Perera". Some authors have cited me as two authors stating "Sandun, M & Perera, J", while I have also been cited as "Perera, S.M.J." and "Perera, S.M." just due to mistakes of citing authors. Several of such citations unfortunately are missing in both my RG and GS profiles.
