The history of this question comes from the false vacuum theories and conclusions that collapse of the false vacuum destroys everything it contains. In this representation the big bang could have resulted from collapse of a previous false vacuum.

My completed project on deep space transport at high speed predicted that fast moving objects might not be destroyed in collapse of a false vacuum, because of a squeezed quantum state that they create locally.
