Polyisobutylene also has a Tg of -62 oC, so ot os liquid-like at room tepmeprature and low molecular mass. Other low Mw rubbers may also be tried. It is also a question whether you need a functional end-group or you want an inert polymer.

Thanks, Gyorgy, it may be better if the polymer has some functional groups on the side chains, such as -OH, -NH2, -OCOCH=CH2, etc.

There are several liquid polyetheramines (Jeffamines, Hunstman), polyethylene-glycols with various end-groups, polysiloxanes with specific end-groups (Tegomers) - but I beleive that these are usually lower than 10,000 in molecular weight. These are widely used in polyuerthane, polyurea and in epoxy chemistry.

Siloxanes are also available with terminal functional groups ;

perfluoropolyethers in production cycle have terminal -COF functionality that is removed for chemical stability. Please contact with ABCR www.abcr.de for siloxanes and perfluoroethers.

Polydimethylsiloxane is a good choice

Just found this chain. I'm looking for a animal cell culture compatible polymer which is liquid at 37 degrees, but solid at room temp...polymer size shouldn't be a factor. Any thoughts? Tnx!
