Candidates for Cleaner Production (CP) indexes include resource efficiency, eco-efficiency, green productivity index. In addition to these indicators that are part of sustainable business indicators (SBIs) in general, and that have formal and well known definitions, other CP indexes of interest can be constructed by aggregating relevant economic and environmental indicators chosen from the set of SBIs. Please find attached two good reviews of such indicators and methods for aggregating indicators into an index.
