LbL is layer by layer self assembly technique, you will find in the following articles:

LBL means layer by layer assemly. take GC modify it with PDDA polymer then dry it which pocess positive charges at the surface dip this in a solution of PSS ( polystryrene sulphonate) which has negative charge so it can interact with positively charged PDDA modified GC.
Kindly i request you, in future while sending the doughts or any requirements please clearly explain the details and your objective because research is very very specific and intraspective. change of one single simple thing may destroy many things.
Pls. explain which material you exactly want to develop on the glass carbon surface. the first layer might not be a big problem since the chemistry of carbon surface is clear and it's not hard to attach a linker to surface. How about the other layers? Be more specific.
I was using LBL on gold to study nanoparticles E chem. The gold electrode + monolayer of thiols+ PDDA+ NPs with negatively charged ligands+PDDA. I had to go -ive in potential to study them and at that potential thiols are getting desorbed and i can see oxidation peaks of gold electrode after 1st scan.No i was looking for a method similar to this on GC electrode. I am sorry my question was very short . Mr. Raghu u cant modify GC with PDDA doesnt work on GC and that film is not stable over time when u do echem.. i tried that and plz if you are not sure abt anything dont give wrong advice.
