Dear Hira Afzal , you have enough information for the calculation of the Axial Ratio. As an example you can use the formula 20lg(Avexp(phiv)/AHexp(phiH)) or

20lg(Avexp(phiv) *AHexp(-phiH)/(AHAH), where

AH - amplitude and phiH - the phase of lhcp wave

AV - amplitude and phiV - the phase of rhcp wave

Having read Vadym Slyusar 's answer more carefully, I think it is not right.

The axial ratio is the ratio of the maximum and minimum linear polarizations.

The maximum amplitude is when A=AH+AV and the minimum is when A=AH-AV

The ratio of powers is ((AH+AV)/(AH-AV))^2. In dB this is 10 log10( ((AH+AV)/(AH-AV))^2 )

I've written it this way because Ah-Av can be negative which messes up the log if you use 20 log10( (AH+AV)/(AH-AV) )

You have made things confusing for me Vadym Slyusar by calling LHCP AH and RHCP AV. LHCP and RHCP are circular polarizations and H and V are usually used to refer to horizontal and vertical linear polarizations.

The formula is better as 10 log10( ((ALHCP+ARHCP)/(ALHCP-ARHCP))^2 )

The phase is not needed for axial ratio, it only affects the angles at which the signal is highest and lowest.
