Considering that wormholes are predicted by a variety of methods, the question arises about what travelers might expect. Most cases considered so far involve one traveler continually accelerating in the direction of velocity. There are many other cases.
Consider two vehicles far enough apart that they generate separate wormhole entrances, but the vehicles are converging at a small angle such that the paths are projected to intersect. Will the two wormholes merge into a single exit?
Second example is when vehicles are close enough together that they generate a single wormhole entrance. but diverging in their paths sufficiently that they cannot share a single exit. Will the wormhole branch to make two exits?
Now consider that a vehicle might inter a worm hole that was recently created by other vehicles in a branching structure. How will the vehicle decide which branch to take?
Can A Wormhole Have More Than One Entrance And Exit?
Interesting questions but do wormholes have any travel distance between openings or are they like simple thresholds between starting and ending locations. In other words, is the transit instantaneous? If it is then convergence or divergence of two vehicles may not be possible in the way you have described, although collisions could happen.
A wormhole in my previous representation is created by kinetic energy in a process of frame dragging. The worm hole opens when a critical energy density is achieved by continuous acceleration. The dragged frames develop into the wormhole, meaning strongly curved space, but convex to the vehicle, as compared to event horizon which is concave to the source.
Scale relativity is applied in previous threads, and for this purpose represents quantum states of spin angular momentum in the vacuum ZPE. The scale of one represents 4D of general relativity in which Planck h is constant. Scale of two gives variable h and 5D like Kaluza - Klein and others, but for this purpose adds a second dimension of time. Scale of three adds a third dimension of time and becomes 6D able to describe fast moving mass.
Scale of four works out mathematically to be flat space of 4D inside a curved 6D space time. It opens closely around the vehicle when kinetic energy threshold is reached and remains open until the kinetic energy decreases below the critical point. The worm hole is slightly longer than the vehicle that made it, and not much wider then the vehicle. The 6D is folded space time in front of the vehicle, and the wormhole is a tunnel through it.
Scale of five looks like the big bang going backwards, which is as far as my model goes as the vehicle melts down from doppler heating. Other researchers go as far as scale 8, but without mass which is not in my program.
In the present question opinions are being asked about properties of the wormhole when vehicles are close together side by side or length to length. It arises in the quest for critical energy, as fields combine or separate.
Without the vehicle representation there is no way to tell where a wormhole starts and where it ends, how large it is or when it is open.
A note on 6D, which I struggled with a long time. When a coordinate system is made of three velocity vectors or for curved space velocity tensors then a separate but identical clock can be attached to each velocity component. This system can be constructed and tested. Also other types of meters can be attached raising the system to 10D, 12D or 26D all of which can be constructed and tested.
To answer your comment a very close approach of vehicles is required to cause interaction of wormholes.
