This is the picture coming from the stochastic quantum hydrodynamic analogy. Even strange, this approach gives us a satisfactory overall comprehension showing us that macroscopic sovrappositions of quantum states (Schrodinger cat) do not exist and that quantum mechanics are deterministic evolution of "mechanical" distributions so that God does not plays dice. Finally, it also offers the possibility to derive the uncertainty principle by that one of maximum transmission of interactions/information at the light speed.
Well, Jon, I have my son that is a really pasionated to quantum computing and deterministc classical one. His vision (from which I do not completely disagree) is that the reality is a cosmologic virtual game...... So I really love your field of research (even I am not a specialist). Traying to translate in your word......I can say that the outputs of my investigations put toward the direction that: the universe is a quantum deterministic machine that for its constituent initial state cannot be free from fluctuations and that, for the consequences of these (vacuum) fluctuations, the quantrum mechanics on large scale breaks down itself and gives rise to the stochastic ( you say pseudo non-deterministic) classical mechanics.
