Donald Trump’s Covid-19 diagnosis is a reminder that the virus is an ongoing threat to the US that “can happen to anyone”, the former director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has said.
Dr Tom Frieden, now the president and CEO of Resolve to Save Lives, said the development showed that the US needed a comprehensive approach to Covid-19.

Emotion doesn't get the priority to make any decision. A fruitful decision, depends on many parameters including, science, conscience, embedded environments etc.
May almighty Allah quick recovers the all COVID-19 infected folks and bestow the strength to carry the shock of those bereaved families who have lost their love & revered relatives in this pandemic.

Trump appears to be strong, with little or no symptoms of Covid-19. I strongly believe he has recovered already.

Science gives us the practical reality. Emotions are humane, varies from individual to individual.
But science is science when it is proved scientifically and accepted universally.

Fauci: Trump is not following the science on coronavirus
Dr Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the US, has given an interview to the BBC’s Andrew Marr. He tempers Donald Trump’s claims that there will be a vaccine by the end of the year, calling the statement correct but noting that a wide rollout will take “several months into 2021” and early use will focus on vulnerable populations and healthcare workers.
“We will know whether a vaccine is safe and effective by the end of November, the beginning of December,” Fauci said. “When you talk about vaccinating a substantial proportion of the population, so that you can have a significant impact on the dynamics of the outbreak, that very likely will not be until the second or third quarter of the year.”
He also says it’s “very important” for politicians and public figures to follow the science. “You can positively or negatively influence behaviour,” he says. “It would really be a shame if we have a safe and effective vaccine but a substantial portion of the people don’t want to take the vaccine because they don’t trust authority.”
Science operates on data gathered as reference for a valid decision. Science did absolute wonders to almost all developments the world enjoys today because it is data driven, knowledge based and a product of research. Emotion, however valid it may be is an abrupt feeling associated to a matter and will therefore need to be subjected to Science still.
This is quite a good discussion but I think emotion shouldn't be involved in cases of this nature since we can easily apply empirical nd available data to verify such a situation.
