In a departure from mainstream climate science, Scott Pruitt—the head of the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States—suggested in February 2018 that global warming might actually benefit humans. He concurred that humans are—to a degree—contributing to climate change but claimed we know humans have flourished most during times of warming trends. In a word, to the consternation of many scientists, he questioned the assumption that global warming is necessarily a bad thing.

PS: To note, the Environmental Protection Agency itself is unequivocal that warming temperatures and resulting environmental changes are a danger to humans, for example via extreme weather events, spread of diseases, water-borne illnesses, food insecurity, heatwaves, smoke from increased wildfires, and worsening smog.

This topic could be discussed from two perspectives:

1. Minor/Short-term:

As you mentioned some areas are no longer livable mainly because of high temperatures whereas some previously frozen parts are becoming livable. Honestly I don't know which one is larger. Careful observation, measurement and calculation is required.

2. Major/Long-term:

We as human beings have dramatically affected our environment (regardless of the negative or positive aspects of the climate change), and we have shown that we're not able to easily stop the trend or make it reverse. This is fundamentally risky and dangerous. Logically speaking, while there's only one planet that is currently available for us to live, we shouldn't manipulate it before making sure that what we do is correct.

I think that it happens naturally and it effected our settlement.

It is now November, i.e. in the climatic zone of my country is autumn. Autumn in my country can be beautiful, has its positive aspects. But I like summer the most, except most people in this climate zone in which I live. Autumn is the end of summer and the beginning of winter, if there are still real winters with snow and frost. In my country autumn is colorful, many shades of yellow and brown on deciduous trees that drop the leaves for the winter. In my country, more than a dozen years ago or more, there were real winters with snow and frost after the autumn. In contrast, the last winters, during the last few years, it looked like autumn, without snow and positive temperatures. I think that the greenhouse effect, ie the warming of the Earth's climate, has already begun. This is also confirmed by numerous climatic cataclysms and weather anomalies, which in the current year 2018 appear in numerous places on the Earth. In some parts of the Earth there are fires of huge forest areas such as in Scandinavia, California in the USA, Australia, the Iberian Peninsula, Africa, etc. In addition, weather anomalies, e.g. snow and floods in October and November in the south of Europe.

In addition, tornadoes in many places on Earth and so on.

Perhaps these problems will get worse. It is necessary to improve security systems and anti-crisis services, improve the prediction of these anomalies and climatic cataclysms so that people can, have managed to shelter or cope with the imminent cataclysm. One of the technologies that can help in more precise forecasting of these cataclysms is the processing of large collections of historical and current information on this subject in the cloud computing technology in Big Data database systems.

In view of the above, due to the increasingly frequent cataclysms and climatic anomalies, perhaps in the future we will be forced to change our assessment of particular seasons, and for example, favorite in some climatic zones, summer will not be the best time of the year if, for more and more often, higher temperatures, droughts, fires, tornadoes etc.

More and more scientific research confirms that if the average annual temperature at the surface of the Earth by the end of the 21st century will rise by a further 3-4 ° C, then man will become an endangered species. If this black scenario was to be realized, in a few dozen years the areas that can be inhabited by people are significantly shrinking globally.

Negative impacts arising from CC to human habitation can happen. Places can get too hot, too wet, get submerged by water (sea level rise like on low lying islands), etc. It also can happen that locations become more suitable for human habitation and human economic activities such as agriculture, when vegetation season become longer, etc.
