The present information technology, its availability and the affordability of computer gadgets makes information available on the fly these days. Consequently, someone with a secondary education but without a university degree can do significantly more these days compared to decades ago-as secondary education makes individuals trainable. Consequently, it is beginning to be obvious that university education or degree, particularly at the Bachelors degree is not necessary for acquiring the knowledge and skills for a good-paying professional job in several industries. This is particularly the case because several short-term computer-based trainings are available online and are affordable; further more, jobs are getting too specialized and may not need all the various university courses to prepare individuals for the job market. So why waste four whole years in a relatively expensive university to acquire a traditional university degree where you are given a broad base education and some specialization?
