From very early 1900s, the terms 'curator' and related ideas of 'curation', and 'curatorial methods and practices' moved from the cloisters of churches to the worlds of arts, museums, and exhibitions. A hundred years later, in early 2000s, these concepts are moving into an even wider domain - many practices and people in the social media spaces are acquiring such characteristics. We have an ongoing research project in this area, but -- so far -- the literature we have found on the social and cultural dimensions of curatorial practices is very sparse. Are there sources we are missing? Also, could you -- from your expert perspective -- provide your own ideas?
