this: http://fliessgewaesserbiologie.kliwa.de/ is in german but you can find a good overview over the effords, made in southern germany to deal with this question. Additionally they list a lot of literature, concerning climate change and freshwater-ecology.

your answer can be found on the AgIP website . www.agmip.org . This is a project of intercomparison of models to assess the impacts of climate change on agro-ecosystems mainly. I hope this may help.
