Are there any legal constraints, to do a part time job while doing full-time PhD in India?

Currently, I work for a website and hence, location is not a constraint for Me.Soon I will be joining for PhD. For, my boss it does not matter if I can manage PhD with the work. Is it possibly legal to work part-time?
