The potentiodynamic parameters I have obtained through Tafel curves like inhibition efficiency I have always found to be a little less or more then the parameters obtained from EIS and do not follow a specific trend. Why is this?
@ Sir Sebastian. Thanks you very much . Well I will try to see the long time exposure effect of electrolyte solution on Rp values obtained from Polarization and EIS.
@ Yasseer. Yes even after exposure for long times the problem is still persist. But if we do this at OCP (run the sample for OCP first and then start measurement), in this way we can reduce the error between two measurements, i.e. PDS and EIS. One cannot get the ideal results with same efficiency obtained from both methods.
