Intellectually we are as we know how to use and manipulate things/resources abut once it come to intelligence of knowing the resources in absolute terms we don't know a single thing about them. Just ideas, proposed theories that's what we have in our hands, all because putting a names on things gives us perfect ground how and when to use them but what it comes to consequences we don't know what it will lead to. This is most hazardous ways of living and we are facing the consequences.
Yes, we are smartest species on earth because we know the reasons for destruction and we know how to rectify it. Only worry is we are not doing rectification with the pace of destruction .
The human have been blessed with a powerful mind. However, the key lies in living in a strong partnership with the nature rather than creating our own artificial world at the cost of natural resources.
