I'm having a doubt regarding antivirals.
are there any antivirals that can kill the unbound virus invivo? I'm asking this because if there are any such molecules then the Terminative/curative treatment for AIDS will be possible. i'm having a concept regarding this
sir treatments for AIDS and other viral disorder, having same pattern that can change in DNA of host.......sir there is no need to kill virus, but we must stop them at their effective level on host DNA. so all research be with the same only. if we kill the particular virus, in next generation they are with resistant with the particular drug.

sir I agree with your idea. but the available anti HIV drugs can only act till a particular stage where they can transofrm/ transcript through our human DNA. so what abt the next stage ?. what kind of drugs can act at the later stages of HIv infection. moreover HIv is entirely a different case when compared to other viral infection.
In HIV the GP1 protein of HIV will directly bind to CD4 cell receptor where MHC has to bind thus drastically nullifies the human auto immunity. but its not the situation with other viral infections.
and the major problem to develop a perfect antiHIV drug is (here comes your statement regarding change in DNA) the ssRNA of HIV will tranform to ds DNA and binds to human DNA and undergoes transcription/ replication thus reproducing its breed. if we treat the HIV with our conventional antivirals by inhibiting DNA replication, then our DNA will also not be replicated. thus this leads to DEATH of the infected person.
moreover microbes (bacteria, virus) are not completely killed by our drugs. they make microbes static (i.e., stops replication), the main lysis is done by our own CD4, T-Lymphocytes.
that's why I have asked is there any particular drug that kills virus.
