Would you recommend a methodological book (up to date, and with new methods) or an article which talks about qualitative methods, especially interviewing? Thank you. Best
Qualitative Methods in Social Work Research by Deborah Padgett is a great book. Even if you're not in Social Work. It's applicable to all social scientists.

'Interviews - An Introduction to Qualitative Research Interviewing' by Steiner Kvale is, in my view 'excellent.' It was published in 1996 so it depends on what you mean by up to date. What I particularly like is that Kvale goes beyond the interview itself and talks in depth about what to do with your data onca collected and links this all back to the interview, instrument design and data collection. Highly recommended

Thank you so much to everyone who immensely contributed to my 'list of books on interviewing' to be read during the next few weeks. I have already taken some of them from the library.
