We must all do what we can to spread awareness of how damagingly irrational academia is, how profoundly academia betrays both reason and humanity, and how urgent the need for change. We need a high-profile campaign devoted to bringing about a revolution in universities so that they become devoted to helping humanity make progress towards as good a world as possible.

Well I would take it from a different angle and suggest that an academic revolution is needed in addressing graduate students' procrastination in completing their research on time. I piloted a series of research e-clinics as an intervention to addressing this issue. The findings were presented at a recent conference and included that the e-clinics piloted one month before the final research projects were due were quite helpful in the following ways: finding journal articles to support the research, making requested supervisor revisions; and answering questions about the research project.
