Yes flower structure looks more like Sterculiaceae/Tiliaceae (Malvaceae) plant but, apparently the plant generally resembles Bridelia (Phyllanthaceae/Euphorbiaceae)
hello, we found here so many plant with no name that I think If you want some help, the most important is to give the localisation of your observation.
If I refer to the name gived here some are afrcian plant, other are native from India, but we don't know were the observation was made, if the plant was cultivated, etc.
No doubt it is Bridelia species of Euphorbiaceae and I think it is Bridelia retusa. Dr. Rashid may verify whether the main trunk has spines, which is characteristic of B. retusa.
