I see many people uploading images of plants for identification. My advise to you and all of them is please make an effort to identify yourself. Attempt to characterise the specimen in hand. If you do not attempt you will never learn how to identify. You should always give field characters of the species in addition to specimen characters. No doubt there are experts all over the world to give you tentative or confirmed identification but how do you learn? Irrespective of your subject specilisation please learn how to identify. If you fail in your attempt then request others giving details as suggested and also to which family/genus/species you have arrived at and get it confirmed by experts. Many taxonomists are also doing this and without giving field notes and characters of the specimen.
MY ADVISE ALL IS TO FOLLOW PROCEDURES OF IDENTIFICATION AND LEARN TAXONOMY. AND YOU WILL ENJOY LEARNING TO IDENTIFY PLANTS WITH GREAT PASSION.

It is a member of Sterculiaceae and the specimen is Sterculia hamiltonii (Kuntze) Adelb.
I am also agree with Dr. Sanjappa Sir, at present the Taxonomist are the rare and the Endangered community, so please try yourself to Identify the plants after Identification of the plants then you may upload the picture for conformation so, those who upload picture of plant identification please do not upload the picture but upload your idendified species with name for conformation.
